There Crazy Tube Circuits Heatseeker This is an analog "amp-in-a-box" overdrive/preamp pedal geared towards British rock in the Marshall style, clearly designed for Angus Young-esque crunch and distortion tones. It combines a highly dynamic JFET gain circuit (internally powered at high voltage for increased headroom) with a boost/enhancer inspired by the Schaffer-Vega, which can be used separately or together. It features a full EQ, Marshall JTM/Super Lead/JCM style voicings, a "Wall of Sound" mode to thicken the tone, and a passive effects loop between the two sections. The result: a warm, vintage character, highly responsive to playing and guitar volume, ideal for rock/classic rock without the need for multiple pedals.
