Without a doubt, Martin, with nearly 200 years of history, builds excellent guitars, but when you venture into the realm of limited editions, you enter the realm of excellence! The D28 is THE Martin, the most popular in the range. This particular one was custom-made by the Italian store Meazzi in a limited run of only 19 to celebrate the brand's 50th anniversary! The craftsmanship is top-notch, with magnificent finishes that are never over the top. The back and sides are rosewood, the top is Sikta wood\u2026 The mahogany neck has an ebony fingerboard (the bridge is made of the same wood) decorated with snowflake inlays, as are the ebony tuning machine heads\u2014enough to make a D-45 envious! Even more than the quality of the woods, it's the craftsmanship that impresses here. In very good condition, it was once amplified, and is sold in its case with all its paperwork.<\/p>\n
