It wasn&#039;t until 1967 that Gibson relaunched production of the Flying V (and even 1976 for the Explorer!). This particular guitar isn&#039;t the classic &#039;67 reissue; it&#039;s a Faded model with a satin finish that will quickly develop a beautiful patina. The ceramic pickups are the aggressive 496R and 500T.
