The Visage is a very high-end boutique analog fuzz pedal, directly inspired by Roger Mayer's work on the sounds of Jimi Hendrix. Based on an architecture similar to the Axis Fuzz, it uses select transistors and, most importantly, offers 45 internal combinations of settings via jumpers, allowing for extensive modification of the gain, frequency response, and overall character of the fuzz. The result ranges from a thick, full, and singing fuzz to more aggressive and cutting tones, while maintaining excellent dynamics at guitar volume. Its meticulous design, including a discrete analog circuit, triple shielding, and a heavily filtered power supply, ensures very quiet and stable operation. It's a particularly interesting pedal for vintage\/Hendrix fuzz enthusiasts who want significantly more toning options than a traditional Fuzz Face.<\/p>\n
