The Microtubes B7K Ultra V2 is an extremely versatile bass preamp\/overdrive designed to deliver a modern, powerful, and highly defined sound, from subtle grit to massive high-gain. It combines a Darkglass saturation circuit with a blend control, a very precise 4-band EQ, attack and grunt controls, and, most importantly, an XLR DI output with cabinet simulation, allowing for direct use with a PA system, interface, or in the studio. The V2 also allows loading of cabinet IRs, features a headphone output with cab sim, and an aux input on the current version. It's an excellent pedal if you're looking for a modern, aggressive, highly articulate bass tone that remains perfectly clear in a mix, particularly suited to metal, rock, and prog.<\/p>\n
