Despite its \u00ab85\u00bb designation, its actual power output is 65W RMS, with a 12-inch Fender Special Design speaker. It features two channels: an excellent, very Fender-like clean tone, and a distortion channel with gain, boost, limiter, and 3-band EQ, a spring reverb, an effects loop, and the unique ability to blend the two channels, allowing for very interesting tones with pedals. The clean channel is generally considered its strongest point: powerful, clear, and very effective as a pedalboard.
