Gibson Super 400CES Sunburst 1972
8999,00 €
Released in 1934, the massive Super 400 immediately positioned itself at the top of the Kalamazoo brand's lineup. It boasts all the attention to detail Gibson is capable of: split-block inlays on an ebony fretboard, binding throughout, a flamed maple neck, split diamonds on the front and back of the headstock (complete with a stinger!), and more. Introduced in 1951, the 400 CES features a pair of pickups, in this case, T-Top humbuckers. Following an accident and subsequent work on the back of the instrument (including a neck reset) at the Gibson factory, a second serial number was superimposed on the first. The potentiometer knobs are not original, and this particular guitar has been refretted. It is sold in a brown case with a pink fuzzy lining from the 1990s.
