Often mistakenly considered the first '59 reissues, the Heritage '80s are rare guitars: approximately 2,000 were produced between 1980 and 1982. Among the Heritage models, there are several versions, and like a Custom, this Elite boasts a beautiful ebony fretboard. The maple top on this particular guitar is quilted, and the pickups are Tim Shaw. Everything is original on this example, which is in superb condition for its nearly 40 years.
