The JV series were the first Fender/Squier guitars produced in Japan, and for over 40 years they have built a solid reputation. Appearing alongside the Thinline and Deluxe models in 1972, the Custom replaces its neck pickup with a Wide Range pickup developed by Seth Lover. The electronics on this model are more comprehensive, with independent volume and tone controls for each pickup. This TC72-65 is extremely rare; this particular one is a well-played guitar with plenty of dings, scratches, signs of wear, etc.
