This fretless bass was custom-made for its current owner in 2007 by luthier Pierre Martines. The ebony fingerboard has the equivalent of 24 frets, the neck is mahogany, and the birch burl top is truly spectacular! The body is constructed from mahogany, ovenkgol, maple, walnut, and bubinga. The passive electronics are simple: a volume control, a tone control, and a mixer to control the Jazz Bass-style pickup and a humbucker. It comes with a generic case.
