Introduced in 1960, the Jazz Bass quickly established itself as the benchmark in the market. This particular J Bass began its life with frets, but it's now fretless thanks to a luthier who even replaced the fingerboard. The pickguard and electronics are not original. The weight remains reasonable for a CBS-era Fender: 4.16 kg.
