Fender The Strat 1980 Lake Placid

The Strat was intended to restore Fender's somewhat tarnished image from the 1970s. Unfortunately, it was so expensive to produce that the venture ended in 1983. All the hardware is plated in 22-karat gold, and the second tone control has been replaced by a two-way selector switch, allowing for a wider range of sounds. This Stratocaster has seen better days: the Lake Placid Blue finish has faded to a beautiful Teal Green Metallic! The pickguard and a few screws are not original. The guitar has just been restored.
