Fender AVRI 69 Telecaster Thinline

Now replaced by American Original pickups, the AVRI pickups were in Fender's lineup just below the Custom Shop. In Thinline trim, the Telecaster is completely transformed, gaining a warmer tone. It's very different from the '72, which has Wide Range pickups. This one is very attractively priced because it was modified to suit its previous owner's needs. There's a cutout under the pickguard (not original), the potentiometer knobs, there are screw holes, etc. A real player's car with dings and scars all over, which give it a unique and captivating charm.
