Epiphone E422T Century 1965 Royal Burgundy

The Kalamazoo-based brand acquired Epiphone in 1957. Thus, this Century is made in the same workshops as its cousins. The Gibson ES-125T uses the same design: a semi-hollow body with a single P90 pickup controlled by a volume and tone knob! It was the entry-level archtop for Gibson/Epiphone, and its narrower body compared to a 175, for example, makes it suitable for genres such as rock, blues, etc. This magnificent 1965 example, in its beautiful Royal Burgundy/Cherry finish, is in very good condition and features a Tremotone vibrato. It was once set up as a left-handed guitar, as evidenced by a small mark on the side, and had a tailpiece. The original cardboard case has been replaced with a more recent model.
