Gibson Explorer Reissue 76 Metallic Teal Green 1993

Launched in 1958 alongside the Flying V, both models were a resounding commercial failure. It would be another 18 years, until 1976, before Explorer production resumed, and here is its reissue. This particular model is presented in what is undoubtedly its rarest color scheme: Metallic Teal Green with gold hardware! The ceramic pickups are the 496R and 500T, very powerful and perfect for high-gain tones. Everything is original on this example, which comes in its superb, well-worn brown case with a pink fuzzy lining!
