Released in 1954, the Junior was the most affordable model in the solidbody range (until the arrival of the Melody Maker), not by compromising on build quality, but by reducing options and finishes. This particular example is the Faded finish, with a thin clear coat that will quickly develop a patina. The wraparound front end has been replaced.
