Gibson Melody Maker Explorer 2011 Satin Ebony

Launched in 1958 alongside the Flying V, both models were a resounding commercial failure… It would take 18 years, until 1976, for Explorer production to resume, and here it is in the Melody Maker version! This is a minimalist version, with a wraparound tailpiece, a single volume potentiometer and a humbucker pickup in the bridge position.
