Danelectro produced affordable guitars in the United States using ingenious solutions (these days they're made in China, but they still work very well!). The body of Danelectro guitars is generally hollow and made of Masonite. Among the brand's ambassadors are JJ Cale, Jimmy Page, and Eric Clapton. This U2 1956 reissue model is inspired by the Les Paul design with a Dolphin headstock. Its unique feature is the double lipstick pickup in the bridge position.
