Gibson Firebird Elliot Easton «Tikibird» 2013 Gold Mist Poly

«The Firebird arrived on the market in 1963, and with its flamboyant look and neck-through design, it shook up the guitar landscape. At the beginning of its career in 1963, the Firebird had a "reverse" body, but from 1965 onwards, this became a "non-reverse" body. Here is the signature model of Elliot Easton from the band The Cars, which is special in many ways! It features Classic 57 pickups and four mini-switches allowing for coil splitting, out-of-phase switching, or routing the bridge pickup directly to the jack. Also noteworthy is the presence of a Bigsby tremolo and a beautiful Gold Mist Poly finish. This particular guitar is a survivor, having been repaired after numerous documented breaks (shown in our photo file), and is now fully functional! Sold with its paperwork in its original case.
