Marshall JMP 1987 Lead 50 Watts 1969-1970

The Marshall JMP 1987 is a legendary 50-watt amp head, derived from the famous Plexi. Powered by two EL34 power tubes, it delivers a typically Marshall sound: big mids, organic tone, a sharp attack, and excellent dynamics. Less powerful than the 100-watt 1959 model, it's often preferred for its faster overdrive and its ability to saturate at slightly more reasonable volumes (but it's still loud!). Here, the power transformer has been replaced, as well as the power jack, feet, and handle. It has just been serviced by Will-Fx. Made during one of the brand's most sought-after periods, it's prized by fans of classic rock, blues, and 70s hard rock. A raw amp, without a master volume, that excels plugged into a good 4x12 cabinet… or two!
