Introduced in 1954, the Custom tops the range: ebony fretboard, stunning Black Beauty finish (ebony and gold hardware), binding on the back, around the top and fretboard, split diamond logo, etc… it's much more than a Standard! This Les Paul Custom is the famous Black Beauty… It features a well-known pickup pairing that's been popular for over 30 years: a sensible 490R in the neck position and a powerful 498T in the bridge. Note the return of an ebony fretboard to this particular model. A Custom Shop guitar with numerous playing marks, sold with its certificate of authenticity and delivered in its original Lifton case.
