Because of its bolt-on neck, and despite Elvis Presley's endorsement, the Coronado never found its audience. No matter! It's now an affordable, and above all, very convincing vintage hollow-body model. The Lake Placid Blue color is one of the most desirable for this model… The DeArmond pickups (which were reversed a long time ago; we're not putting them back the right way to avoid damaging the mounting brackets and the finish) sound fantastic, and this particular guitar has developed a beautiful patina. The frets are original and therefore quite low, but the guitar remains playable. All original except for the nut, the absence of a pickguard, the potentiometer knobs, and the case.
