Thorpy FX The Dane MKII

The Dane MKII is a British boutique pedal developed with Peter “Danish Pete” Honoré, designed to cover a very wide spectrum of rock and blues tones with an extremely dynamic approach. It combines a very organic light to medium overdrive with a high-headroom boost capable of both thickening the sound and pushing an already hot amp. The MKII version adds a more aggressive “HC” mode to the boost section, inspired by the Heavy Water, allowing for more saturation and bite. Thanks to its meticulously crafted analog circuitry, its high sensitivity to playing, and its excellent clean-up at the guitar's volume, it is often considered one of the modern benchmarks for high-end “drive + boost” pedals.
