Pedulla Penta Buzz 5 String Bass Fretless 2000 Natural

The Buzz is a handmade, 5-string fretless bass made in the USA and considered one of the best in its class. Developed by Michael Pedulla in collaboration with Mark Egan, it features a neck-through maple construction sandwiched between two flamed maple wings, a 34-inch scale length, an ebony fingerboard with DiamondKote coating (allowing for the use of roundwound strings without premature wear), and active Bartolini Precision/Jazz Bass pickups and preamp. Renowned for its comfortable feel, excellent definition on the low B string, and its famous "singing" tone that blends growl, sustain, warmth, and precision, it excels in jazz fusion, funk, pop, and rock. Since Pedulla ceased production in 2019, the Penta Buzz has become an even more sought-after instrument. In very good condition, sold with its paperwork in its original case.
