The original was only produced in very limited quantities in 1939, but fortunately Gibson decided to reissue it: the Advanced Jumbo! The model's main distinguishing feature is its longer 25.5-inch scale length, while Gibson typically offered a 24.75-inch scale. The back, sides, and fingerboard are rosewood, the neck is mahogany, and the top is Sitka spruce. This is a former Gibson demo model, in good condition, and comes with a more recent Gibson case.
