Boss VE-22 Vocal Performer

The VE22 is a recent digital vocal multi-effects unit from BOSS, introduced in 2024, designed for live vocals as well as rehearsal, recording, and streaming. It combines an XLR mic preamp with 48V phantom power, compressor, EQ, de-esser, reverbs, delays, modulation, distortion, lo-fi, Auto Pitch, and, most importantly, real-time harmonies with vocal doubling. It offers 39 effect types, 50 presets, and 99 user memories, as well as a 37-second phrase looper. The AUX input allows you to sing along to external music, and the USB-C port enables use with a computer or mobile device for recording/streaming. Connectivity options include two XLR outputs, a headphone/line output, an AUX input, and a jack for an expression pedal or an additional footswitch.
