Gibson ES-335 TD Wine Red 1981

Description :

Perhaps Gibson's most aesthetically pleasing achievement… Released in 1958, the 335 was the Nashville brand's first semi-hollowbody, closely followed by its sisters, the ES-345 and 355. This block-body model is one of the last before the Dot returned to the market in 1981. It's equipped with Tarback pickups that can be split using a second two-way selector switch. There's a burn mark on the finish between the bridge and pickup, likely due to the addition of a Roland GK-type pickup; it was a "second" model, probably due to a cosmetic defect when it left the factory (don't worry, the guitar is now 40 years old and has plenty of other minor imperfections). The Bigsby tremolo has been added, and the pickguard and bridge are not original. Sold with its original case.
