Boss GE-7 Equalizer XTS Midrange Graphic Modded

The XTS Midrange Graphic Modded is a high-end version of the renowned GE-7, modified by XAct Tone Solutions (XTS) in collaboration with studio guitarist Tom Bukovac. Unlike the original GE-7, whose seven bands cover the entire guitar spectrum (100 Hz to 6.4 kHz), this modification focuses all frequencies on the midrange (approximately 400 Hz, 800 Hz, 1.2 kHz, 1.6 kHz, 2 kHz, 2.5 kHz, and 4 kHz), where the core sonic character of an electric guitar resides. The result is a much more precise and natural equalizer, allowing you to make the guitar stand out in a mix or subtly alter its tone without the sometimes artificial effects of a traditional equalizer. The modification also includes a significant reduction in background noise, making it an excellent clean boost, equally effective in the studio and on stage.
