Danelectro D-2 Fab Overdrive

The Fab Overdrive is a small, analog overdrive pedal from the FAB series, very simple and particularly inexpensive at the time. It only offers Level, Tone, and Overdrive controls, with a fairly fat, dirty, and 70s-style sound, ranging from a light crunch to a fairly fuzzy saturation when the gain is increased. It works particularly well with single-coil pickups and can be useful as a boost in front of a tube amp that's already slightly overdriven.
