Danelectro produced affordable guitars in the United States using ingenious solutions. The body of Danelectro guitars is generally hollow and made of Masonite. The Pro 1 model is very rare, having only been produced between 1963 and 1964. This particular guitar is completely original, with a repair to the headstock. Among the brand's ambassadors were JJ Cale, Jimmy Page, and Eric Clapton. Beck regularly used this model.
