Danelectro produced affordable guitars in the United States using ingenious solutions (these days they're made in China, but they still work very well!). The body of Danelectro guitars is generally hollow and made of Masonite. Brand ambassadors include JJ Cale, Jimmy Page, and Eric Clapton. This U model (with three pickups!) was made in Korea; the pickguard is missing, and its Turquoise Sparkle finish is fantastic!
