Electro-Harmonix Flatiron Fuzz

The Flatiron is a fuzz/distortion pedal inspired by the legendary Rat. It uses an op-amp circuit with asymmetrical clipping, allowing it to deliver sounds ranging from thick overdrive to a heavily saturated and aggressive distortion/fuzz. Rich in midrange, it cuts through the mix beautifully, with a vintage and sharp character. Its Filter control (inverted tone) allows for effective adjustment of brightness. Versatile, it's equally suited to rock, punk, stoner, and hard-hitting blues. Simple, effective, and affordable.
