This Epiphone, a limited edition of only 100, was produced by the Gibson Custom Shop in the USA. Unlike many Epiphone models manufactured at Gibson's Kalamazoo factory from 1959 to the late 1960s, this Wilshire boasts a unique design. Sonically, it sits somewhere between a Les Paul Special and an SG. Access to the upper frets is exceptional, and the neck is quite thin, typical of the 1960s. Original examples are not only rare but also extremely expensive. On this particular guitar, the truss rod and fingerboard have been replaced, and the bridge is slightly offset. It comes with its certificate of authenticity and original case.
