Released in 1962, the Jaguar was intended to dominate the Californian lineup alongside the Jazzmaster; unfortunately, the Stratocaster and Telecaster would always remain more popular! This 1964 guitar dates from a legendary era for Fender, the L series period just before the brand's acquisition by CBS. This particular model was sold in a Scandinavian country, as evidenced by its original case! The Olympic White finish has aged beautifully, as has the neck, which features a matching headstock. A Mustang bridge and buzz stop have been installed, and the original bridge is included. Everything is original except for a refret, which makes this vintage guitar very comfortable to play.
