Released in 1962, the Jaguar was intended to be the flagship of the Californian range alongside the Jazzmaster; unfortunately, the Stratocaster and Telecaster would always remain more popular! Here is a rare Baritone version crafted in Japan, with a scale length ranging from 24 to 28.5 inches, significantly shorter than the Bass VI's 30 inches. The electronics are similar to other Jaguars, while the vibrato is replaced by a fixed bridge. The exemplary quality of craftsmanship, assembly, and finish characteristic of Japanese production is evident. Completely original and in excellent condition.
