Fender Jazzmaster 1962 Custom Shop 2014 Closet Classic Sunburst

Released in 1958, the Jazzmaster was intended to dominate the Californian lineup alongside the Jaguar (which appeared later); unfortunately, the Stratocaster and Telecaster would always remain more popular! While some American Vintage and Original models can be found on the market, Custom Shop examples are rare! Although this one is a 1962 reissue, the neck features binding and block inlays, as found on these models from 1966 onward. This particular model has a Closet Classic finish, not relic or NOS: it simply has some slight crazing in the finish. Sold with its accessories, certificate of authenticity, and original brown case.
