The Musicmaster appeared alongside the Duo-Sonic in 1956. Leo Fender wanted to offer less expensive, smaller guitars, primarily aimed at beginners. The family expanded in the 1960s with the introduction of the Bronco and Mustang. This beautiful 1962 example is completely original except for two tuning pegs and a recent refret that makes it incredibly comfortable to play! The body and neck have developed a superb patina, and the short 22.5-inch scale length is perfect for smaller hands. Sold with a non-original hardshell case.
