The Musicmaster appeared alongside the Duo-Sonic in 1956. Leo Fender wanted to offer less expensive, smaller guitars, primarily aimed at beginners. The family expanded in the 1960s with the introduction of the Bronco and Mustang. This 1972 model has developed a superb patina: the Daphne Blue has turned green over the last 50 years. A portion of the paint has been removed only under the pickguard, making it virtually invisible! The short scale length is perfect for smaller hands, while still maintaining a bit of thickness thanks to its B profile. Sold with a gig bag.
