This Stratocaster is one of the last from a highly desirable decade for Fender… the 1960s! Of course, it still has a four-bolt neck plate and is finished in a rare color for the period: black. Years and patina have revealed the white undercoat, giving this guitar a unique look. Note the routing for two switches under the plate, invisible unless the instrument is disassembled. The five-way selector switch (original included), the pickguard (original included), the strap locks, one potentiometer knob, the tremolo block, and a few screws are not original. This CBS has recently been refretted and is perfectly playable! Sold with its original case.
