In 2004, to celebrate the Stratocaster's 50th anniversary, an edition replicating the look of the original was released: a superb ash body paired with a modern C-shaped maple neck and a 9.5-inch radius maple fingerboard. The pickups are equally impressive, featuring Custom Shop '54s! Sold in its original, beautiful tweed case.
