Introduced alongside the Thinline and Deluxe in 1972, the Custom swapped its usual neck pickup for a Wide Range developed by Seth Lover. This famous pickup gave this Telecaster a completely different character, finished in a typically 70s Translucent Red color. This 1979 model is original except for an excellent LeoSound 57H bridge pickup, a potentiometer, and a saddle. Sold with its hard case!
