Before being fitted with a Wide Range pickup in 1972, the Custom was essentially a Telecaster dressed up for a special occasion. It features two bindings around its body. The pickups on this Japanese-made guitar have been replaced with Van Zandt True Vintage pickups. The frets are quite worn, and a refret will be necessary in the short to medium term. The jack input has also been replaced.
