Fender Telecaster Custom 72 Black TC-55M made in Japan 1988-1989

Introduced alongside the Thinline and Deluxe in 1972, the Custom typically swaps its usual neck pickup for a Wide Range developed by Seth Lover. Here, the neck pickup is a Micawber-style humbucker, specifically a Seymour Duncan SH-6 Distortion. The maple neck features a 7.25-inch radius maple fingerboard and is paired with a black body. The guitar boasts the exemplary quality of craftsmanship, assembly, and finish characteristic of Japanese production.
