Fender The Edge Deluxe Combo Tweed

About this instrument

The Edge Deluxe is an all-tube guitar combo amp made in the USA, launched in 2016 in collaboration with The Edge. It's a reimagined version of the famous 1950s Fender Tweed Deluxe 5E3, one of the amps that contributed to the U2 guitarist's signature sound. Hand-wired, it delivers 12 watts via two 6V6 power tubes, two 12AX7 preamp tubes, and a 5Y3 rectifier tube, coupled with a 12-inch Celestion Alnico Blue speaker. Its modified circuitry offers more defined bass than the original Tweed Deluxe, while retaining its dynamics, warmth, and vintage crunch. The controls remain simple: two independent volume knobs for the Instrument and Mic inputs, as well as a tone control. It also provides an excellent platform for pedals, particularly the delays and modulations used by The Edge. Now discontinued, it has become a sought-after model for fans of Fender Tweed and signature gear. In very good condition.
