Fender The Strat 1980 Lake Placid Blue

The Strat was intended to restore Fender's somewhat tarnished image from the 1970s. Unfortunately, it was so expensive to produce that the venture ended in 1983. All the hardware is 22-karat gold-plated, and the second tone control has been replaced by a two-way selector switch, allowing for multiple tonal options. This Stratocaster is original except for the tremolo arm and its case. The Lake Placid Blue finish has developed a beautiful patina, turning greenish!
