Gibson ES-125TC Sunburst 1965

Description :

The 125 existed in many forms: T for thinline (quarter body), C for cutaway, D for double with two P90s, and sometimes TD, TC, TDC, DC, and so on. It was Gibson's entry-level archtop, and its narrower body compared to a 175, for example, made it suitable for genres like rock, blues, etc. This particular one is the quarter-body model, the same size as an ES-335, with a P90 and a cutaway: much rarer than the 125 model! The potentiometers, bridge, and nut have been replaced. There's also a repair to the jack output. Very playable, with a superb patina, and the sound is... wow!
