Gibson ES-165 Herb Ellis Signature 1996 Vintage Sunburst

There were two versions of the Herb Ellis signature model; this is the first to feature a 490R humbucker. This model is based on the ES-175 in its construction and dimensions, with a laminated flamed maple body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fretboard. There is a repair to the headstock, which explains the lower price. It comes with its original brown hardshell case with a pink fuzzy lining, typical of the period.
