Gibson Explorer Reissue 76 Ebony 2010

Launched in 1958 alongside the Flying V, both models were a resounding commercial failure. It would be 18 years, until 1976, before Explorer production resumed; this is its reissue. The construction is classic, with a mahogany body and neck and a 12-inch radius rosewood fingerboard. The ceramic pickups are the 496R and 500T, very powerful and perfect for high-gain tones. Original except for the pickguard, which has been replaced for an all-black look. Sold with its original case.
