Gibson Firebird V 1964 Sunburst

«The "Firebird" arrived on the market in 1963, and with its flamboyant look and neck-through construction, it shook up the guitar landscape. Early in its career, the Firebird had a "reverse" body, but from 1965 onward, this became "non-reverse." A V like this 1964 example is a rare find! This particular one boasts a complete refinish, a refret, and a 1990s brown case with pink fuzzy lining. With two pickups dedicated to the model (no, they're not mini-humbuckers), a superb Vibrola Lyre tremolo, trapezoid inlays on the rosewood fretboard, banjo-style tuners, and a mahogany wing construction, this Firebird is a real head-turner!
