Gibson Flying V '90 Double 1989 Ebony

Launched in 1958 alongside the Explorer, both models were a resounding commercial failure. It wasn't until 1967 that Gibson relaunched production of the Flying V (and even 1976 for the Explorer!). This is a very rare example that has been modified with a second humbucker, refinished, and with the jack socket on the horn; it now resembles a '58! The ebony fretboard features "Split Diamond" inlays, the pickups are now Classic '57s, and the tuners are Grover. This Flying V comes straight from a period highly prized by fans of the brand, specifically 1989. Sold in its original brown case with pink fuzzy lining.
